The dub calls her RanFan.

Anyway... finished disc 3 of season 1. Krillin vs Bacterian nearly made me ill. Had I not covered my head with my pillow by the time lugie was meantioned, I would have. My gag reflexes were going off by the end of that fight... just disgusting... x~X

Oh god, and chapter 4 of The Secret Diary of Maes Elric-Mustang is my new favorite. I was biting my nails half the time.
And GOD I know I'm gonna be re-reading these chapters for weeks! And what's worse is that, every damn time she updates, I can't read any other fanfiction besides Beaut's for at least two days! Because the writings of teenage fangirls truly show how badly they're written in the light of a true master, and that takes me out of my high, and dammit I will not be taken out.

Okay, I just heard the GHETTO-EST conversation on the bus today. I also learned pretty much everything I'd ever need to know about this girl other than her name, address, and social security number. She was on the bus for maybe 10-15 minutes before I got off, and this is what i learned from the conversation she was having on her cell phone:

1) She is paying child support for more than one child.
2) She's backlogged about $2000 on child support, and once she pays that the bill will go to about $500 a month
3) She makes $20 and hour, and needs two more raises before she's on easy street. (I did not find out her occupation)
4) Apparently some dude called her house phone and started crying on her answering machine. She laughed and said she's considering recording the voice mail and putting it on Youtube. She wishes she could have at least gotten actual video of him crying. Supposedly he also had a gun on him when he was giving the voice message. She told her friend to call him a crybaby boy or some shit the next time she sees him, and the guy no longer has her number to call and cuss her out.

She was loud as hell and talking in that ghetto talk while having this conversation too. I was just in awe.






Onto other things. Starting next week, I will no longer be able to go online Wednesdays save the time between I arrive at school and when my class actually starts. The reason is because Thursdays from now until probably Christmas I will be coming into work at 3am, so I'd have to go to bed pretty much right after class if I want to get a decent night's sleep Wednesday evenings.

The good news is, I'm off at 11am on those days. =D

OH MY FUCKING GOD you CANNOT get better entertainment than episode 9 of TSR.

I freaked, I worried, I cheered, I awed, and I freaked some more. I also had a small urge to cry when Kaname was crying for Sosuke in the rain, probably feeling guilty now among everything else for letting that bastard kiss her. She just looked so broken and lost right then... and then to pull herself together and declare she's gonna fight-

IT'S JUST SO FRICKING BEAUTIFUL AND AWESOME!!! AND THIS IS MY FOURTH TIME WATCHING THIS SHOW!!!

Mmmmm-MM! And I have four eps left. I'm saving those for tomorrow for sure. Thus is when the shit hits the fan for Sosuke, and the last couple eps HAVE to be watched all at once.

I STILL CAN'T BELIEVED I SURVIVED COLLECTING THIS IN SINGLES AND HAVING TO WAIT MONTHS AND MONTHS FOR THE NEXT FEW EPISODES. THANK THE SWEET GODS ABOVE THAT 3-4 EP DISKS AT A TIME ARE ALL BUT A THING OF THE PAST!!!

*deep breath* Okay. I'm done. Time to study for my chem test.

I came home and threw in my Full Metal Panic blue ray. OH MY GOD I'M IN LOVE. SO CRISP AND CLEAN. And explosions/ REAL drama were EXACTLY what I needed to unwind. Especially this ep:




I Recommend watching the whole thing, BUT OH MY GOD 1:45-2:06. I WANT TO BE MAO.

I stopped watching after episode 5 ended, because THIS CAME IN!!!!!

I think the directing sucked for the dub, since they added in stuff that didn't need to be added in (like Rini shouting "MAMAAAAAAA" to Serena, EVEN THOUGH SHE NEVER THINKS OF SERENA AS HER MOTHER.) But OH MY GOD I love Lita and Mina's voices.

I'm gonna watch the Japanese version tomorrow, since the dvd does have a Japanese option (Yes!) But it was SOSOSOSOOSOSOSOSOSOSO AWESOME WATCHING THIS AGAIN!! SO FRIGGIN CUTE!!

TOMORROW WILL BE A DAY OF EPIC. SO EXCITED FOR MY 23RD BIRTHDAY. And this summer was the 10th anniversary of my first anime obsession (whoo Pokemon!) So this has been a pretty good year all around. =)
